This year we will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Keep Columbus Beautiful in the Columbus Community. To help Celebrate this milestone Keep Columbus Beautiful will be giving away mini grants to homeowners in the community to help improve the appearance of their homes! As an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful we conduct a litter index annually to survey the community on amount of litter.

KCB's Mission is to provide education and programs on litter reduction and recycling for the beautification of our community.

If your organization is doing a litter clean up please contact us for supplies. We offer safety vests, litter grabbers, and bag holders.




August 1984 – Clean Community Systems became an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and also received their first grant from NDEQ for litter prevention and public education.

April 1986 - Mayor Larry Marik signs a Proclamation for Keep Columbus Clean Week.

June 17, 1985 - First Yard of the Week award was given out to Alois Shemek.

September 2013 -  2 Stainless Steel Palm trees were installed on the Island located at 23rd St. and 26th Ave.

August 2014 - Keep Columbus Beautiful will celebrate its 30th Anniversary.


September 2014 - Held annual Scrap Tire Collection over 199 tons of tires were collected.
